Tarlac City, Tarlac – The league of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Tarlac Chapter, conducted their monthly meeting last April 27, 2018 (Friday) in Max’s Restaurant at Plaza Luisita.
Tarlac was originally a part of the provinces of Pangasinan and Pampanga. It was the last Central Luzon province to be organized under the Spanish regime in 1874. During the Philippine Revolution of 1896, Tarlac was one of the first eight provinces to rise in arms against Spain. Tarlac is composed of 18 Towns; Anao, Bamban, Camiling, Capas, Conception, Gerana, La Paz, Mayantoc, Moncada, Paniqui, Pura, Ramos, San Clemente, San Jose, San Manuel, Sta. Ignacia and Tarlac City.
Hon. Mayor Estelita Aquino of Moncada Tarlac presided the meeting and started with the introduction of the 7 Mayors present for the conference; Hon. Mayor Betty Lacbayan of Anao Tarlac; Hon. Mayor Erlon Agustin of Camiling Tarlac; Hon. Mayor Eloy Eclar of Gerona Tarlac; Hon. Mayor Nora Modomo of Sta. Ignacia Tarlac and Hon. Mayor Conception Zarate of Pura Tarlac.
At exactly 5:00pm the conference underwent with a discussion on waste management and then focuses on the Elitage L.E.D products and Solar packages presentation. After presenting the company’s product Elitage Group’s President and CEO Mr. Nathan S. Lim gave the mayors a chance to raise and discuss some of their concerns about the products. With the high quality and environment friendly products presented most of the Mayors expressed their willingness to avail the items.
The entire meeting and presentation went smoothly, all because of the attendees gave their interest to Elitage products. Fortunately, all the LMP attendees were able to confirm that they have the budget to fund the company’s world class products.
After the presentation Moncada, Gerona, Camiling, Pura and Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac were the first municipalities who decided to avail the company’s product. Currently Elitage is working together with the above municipalities for the implementation of street lighting projects and solar power packages.
